My automation didn't run
Taskwing watches triggers only while it is running, and not while your Mac is asleep. Keep it in the menu bar and turn on Open Taskwing at login in Settings › General.
Also check that the automation is switched on, and that Pause all automations is off in Settings › General. To test it right away, open the automation and click Run Now.
Notifications don't appear
Open System Settings › Notifications and allow notifications for Taskwing. Settings › Notifications in Taskwing has a Send Test Notification button to check.
How do I set up AI?
On a Mac with Apple Intelligence turned on, AI works right away, on your Mac, with no account. To use another provider, open Settings › AI, pick one (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, Ollama, LM Studio or your own server), paste your API key and click Save & Test. Keys are stored in your Mac's Keychain. For an online provider, Taskwing asks you to accept a privacy notice first.
AI only helps build and change automations. Running them never sends anything online.
The AI built something I didn't want
Open the automation and use Change with AI to say what to fix, in your own words, or edit the trigger and steps by hand.
How do I use an automation in Shortcuts or Siri?
Every automation can be run from the Shortcuts app, Siri and Spotlight. Open an automation and click Add to Shortcuts to get it as a Shortcut, then click Add Shortcut in the Shortcuts app.
What can't Taskwing do?
It can't click or type in other apps, run scripts or Terminal commands, or read your files, email, messages or photos. The full list is in Settings › About.
How do I uninstall Taskwing?
Quit Taskwing from its menu bar icon, then drag Taskwing from your Applications folder to the Trash.
Refunds
Purchases from the Mac App Store are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Privacy
Taskwing has no servers, accounts or tracking. The privacy policy lists everything that ever leaves your Mac, and when.
